This session is designed for any educator who wants to gain an understanding of students with autism. We will review common characteristics, strengths and needs of these students and learn strategies and resources to target their academic, social, language, and sensory needs. Many strategies that benefit students with autism spectrum disorder can benefit any student.
This session will include Tools, Tips, and Tricks for the effective operation of ECATS as well as the use of service logs for data collection in order to develop appropriate IEP goals, objectives, service delivery times, accommodations/modifications, etc.
