CCS Secondary Mini-Conference

Discover Cobras LAUNCH—a program created to help high school graduates seamlessly transition into the next phase of their educational journey. Piloted last year by CCC&TI, this summer bridge initiative was developed to address the challenges many graduates face during the months following high school. By offering intentional support and skill-building opportunities, Cobras LAUNCH equips students with the tools they need to thrive in college. Through an engaging and supportive environment, participants build confidence, develop essential skills, and foster a sense of community, setting them up for success as they begin their college experience.

In this session, participants will dive into the critical difference between passive and active student engagement and discover strategies to move learners from merely consuming content to actively creating, collaborating, and connecting.  Leave with practical insights and tools to transform your classroom into a vibrant digital learning hub where students are motivated to engage meaningfully and authentically.

Use artificial intelligence to help create enrichment activities for websites and online simulations. Participants will engage with Google's Gemini AI, Sphero EDU, Minecraft EDU, Cubelets (Block Coding), and Oculus VR.
