This presentation targets comprehensive skills classrooms looking for direct ideas to support their current students in increasing their participation and engagement. We will develop tools and supports during this training to target specific students presented. Participants will leave with materials made to integrate into their classrooms.
We will explore tools for read aloud for students with reading challenges. We will look at dictation tools. We will look at how to access multiple tools and who they are appropriate for.
We will introduce the Honors Level Course Development & Evaluation Tool. We will use this to help guide the building and completion of your Honors Course Evidence Submission. We will clarify definitions, share strategies and provide some classroom examples for you to potentially use with your advanced level students.
